It's a big day for the NHL! The current collective bargaining agreement runs out at midnight. Either
your local NHL arena will be boarded up like a Gulf Coast vacation home, or, as labor negotiator Caroll Carl predicts,
a last-second deal will get done.
Also, congratulations are due to Canada for reclaiming the World Cup (ne Canada Cup) after 13 years. Team Canada
didn't trail once in the whole tourney. Congrats, canucks. Let's hope this wasn't the last time we see NHL stars in action this year.
