New York Rangers City Skaters captain and founding member Courtney Prince filed suit on Monday, alleging sexual harrassment on the part of MSG executives. The New York Post reported on Prince's original complaint this past spring: "The not-so-nice capades happened December 22,* when Prince was out with an MSG exec and a reporter. She told The Post the exec hit on her and 'put his open mouth on top of my mouth.' She 'pulled away' but the exec 'went on to list which girls he wanted to have sex with and how.'"
This may or may not have been the same exec who, according to the previous complaint, groused that the 2002-03 City Skaters were "the ugliest girls in the NHL," or gave Prince recruiting advice by citing the
Knicks City Dancers as a negative example ("too thick and ghetto"), or who listed City Skaters' physical shortcomings, recommending that one get a hairpiece and another a boob job, or who was responsible for eliminating City Skaters' free sandwiches and cookies, because he thought they were gaining weight.
Here's yesterday's
Toronto Globe and Mail article on the suit.
*December 22, 2003 is the date of the photo at the top of this article, coincidentally. I have no idea if either of the women in the photo are Ms. Prince.
